Onboarding of a new Client

When we take on a new client for IT Support, we perform several follow-up visits to their business premises to ensure everything is set up properly.

Recently two of our engineers, Fox and Rob visited one of our new clients, Rotherham Taylor who are an established accountancy firm based in Preston, Lancashire.
The visit was to re-organise their network cabinet after they were recently onboarded for IT Support. We removed all the old equipment that was no longer needed and re-cabled the whole cabinet from scratch.

Not only does it look more professional, it makes it easier to diagnose any issues that may occur in the future. In addition, we replaced their old router with an up-to-date version that can be managed to enhance their cyber security.

As part of our training and mentoring of staff, Rob Garner (1st Line Engineer) joined Fox Redman (2nd Line Engineer) on this site visit to gain experience of major network changes. This included all the preparation work involved before attending site, testing the system at different intervals to ensure minimal disruption for our client.
