Over the past couple of years, we’ve been fortunate enough to grow as a company and we are pleased to be one of the best IT managed service providers for medium-sized professional businesses operating in the North West. As an organisation we wanted to share our success, so we made it a goal to be more active in the local community and support more good causes. We were very interested in supporting a child-centered local initiative. So when Kirkham Juniors FC approached us about sponsorship for their U11 Reds team, we jumped at the chance.
The sponsorship monies allowed the team to purchase a new home and away kit as well as a new tracksuit top for every U11 Reds player.
Managing Director Adam, along with Sean, Will and Ash, were delighted to go down and watch an evening training session at the club’s home ground in November. They enjoyed seeing the children in action in their new kit and meeting the coaches Reece and Barry, who were on hand to share more about the team with them.
“We cannot thank Impact Computing enough for sponsoring our team. We were concerned about finding a new sponsor due to the effects of the pandemic on local businesses. However, when we approached Impact, Adam was really keen to get on board and was delighted to sign up as our official team sponsor.
The kids absolutely love their new kit and feel proud to play for Kirkham FC, which is a real boost even before we get onto the pitch! I’m convinced it has helped our performance this season.
I’m so pleased they were able to come and watch us all at training recently as it gave the team the chance to thank them all in person.”
Reece and Barry – U11 Reds’ Coaches
“It’s great for everyone in the company to see our name on a local children’s football team shirt. I’m so pleased that the funds we’ve provided mean the U11 Reds can run on to the pitch looking and feeling professional in their new kits and tracksuit tops.
“Over the past two years, it’s been good to be more proactive in the local community. It’s a pleasure to give back not just to Kirkham Juniors FC but also a whole host of other great causes. Since 2019 we’ve donated over £4,000 to local charities and sponsorship programmes, both a personal and company goal for Impact Computing.”
