Once a year, we stop and say thank you to our outstanding team.
Last Thursday that meant the Copper Lounge at The Flower Bowl — two private bowling lanes, great food, and the whole Impact Computing team together for a night of celebration.
Our team are what make us Impact. Every ticket resolved, every happy customer, every extra mile — it’s these people that make it happen, and we are incredibly grateful for every single one of them.
Our awards are voted for by the team, so when someone’s name is called, it genuinely means something. This year we also had six live spot prizes voted for on the night, which gave us all a proper laugh and kept the energy going all evening.
| Most Improved Award 2026 Nominees: Matt Ralph, Rob Garner, Nathan Proctor Winner: Rob Garner Rob has always been someone the team relies on — but this year he took it to another level. Taking on more responsibility and playing a key role in training and developing our newer engineers, his growth hasn’t just been good for Rob, it’s been good for the whole team. A very well deserved winner. | ![]() |
| Team Player Award 2026 Nominees: Ash Farr, Ben Howard, Bryan Chapman Winner: Bryan Chapman Bryan is simply everywhere. Whatever’s needed, whoever needs a hand — Bryan’s there. As Team Leader he’s been a constant source of support across every area of the business, and the team voted for him because they feel it every day. His warmth, his willingness to help, and the way he brings people together haven’t gone unnoticed — and it’s no coincidence that he’s recently been promoted to Service Desk Manager. A thoroughly deserved win. | ![]() |
| Efficiency Award 2026 Nominees: Dave Gladwin, Wayne Dalton, Bryan Chapman Winner: Wayne Dalton Wayne has had a seriously productive year. Alongside his regular workload and ongoing projects, he’s built and improved multiple systems and features that have saved our team — and our clients — a huge amount of time. The kind of work that makes everyone’s life easier, delivered quietly and without fuss. That’s Wayne, and that’s exactly why the team voted for him. | ![]() |
| Positivity Award 2026 Nominees: Florin Paun, Raquele Thompson, Ben Howard Winner: Raquele Thompson Raquele is a relatively new face at Impact Computing, but you’d never know it. From day one she brought a smile and an energy that the whole team noticed — and voted for. That kind of infectious positivity isn’t something you can teach, and it makes a real difference to the people around you. A brilliant addition to the team and a very worthy winner. | ![]() |
| Customer Service Award 2026 Nominees: Nathan Proctor, Rob Garner, Will Hartley Winner: Nathan Proctor This is arguably our most important award — and the one we take most seriously. Nathan’s win wasn’t just down to his colleagues, it was backed by our customers themselves. We read every piece of feedback and every comment that comes in, and Nathan’s name came up time and again. The team will tell you the same thing — he takes the time, he gets it right, and he genuinely cares about making sure every customer feels looked after. That means everything to us. | ![]() |
| Mentorship Award 2026 Nominees: Paul Fretwell, Rob Garner, Bryan Chapman Winner: Rob Garner Passing on knowledge and nurturing the next generation of talent is one of the most important things we do as a business — and one of the most rewarding. Rob embodies that. Quietly and consistently, without making a fuss, he’s been there for everyone who needed guidance, sharing his knowledge and helping our upcoming talent grow. The team noticed, and they voted accordingly. Rob picking up two awards this year says everything about the kind of person he is. | ![]() |
| Outstanding Achievement 2026 Nominees: Dave Gladwin, Will Hartley Winner: Will Hartley The Outstanding Achievement award is reserved for someone who’s had a year that genuinely stands out — and Will has done exactly that. He’s played a hand in virtually every project that’s come through the door, brought in new business, and done it all with an approach that the team and customers alike absolutely love. That caring, personal touch is something you can’t manufacture, and it runs through everything Will does. A fantastic winner for our biggest award of the night. | ![]() |
Congratulations to all our winners, and just as much to every nominee — being put forward by the people you work with every day is no small thing.
We’d also like to give a special mention to The Flower Bowl and to Adam in particular — the space was brilliant, the service was excellent, and we couldn’t have asked for a better evening. We’d recommend them without hesitation.
