Who we are seeking?
Providing great customer service is an essential part of the Impact Computing experience.
We are seeking a positive and enthusiastic, IT Support Field engineer who is passionate about IT. Excellent communication and people skills are essential in this client facing role, along with a clean driving licence.
You’ll enjoy driving, visiting new places, meeting new people and making our clients happy.
The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience in a technical IT support role, ideally with a Managed Service provider.
What you’ll be doing
As part of our Installations team, your main responsibilities will be expertly delivering and installing IT solutions including hardware such as PCs, Laptops, Routers and Switches.
You’ll have the opportunity to work with and learn a wide variety of technologies such as:
Windows 10, LANs, Office 365, Routers.
And more advanced technologies such as:
Microsoft Hyper-V, Server and Disaster Recovery & Backup solutions.
Based at our Kirkham office, part of your day will be spent working with our team preparing for site visits.
The majority of your working day will be spent at our clients’ sites installing new systems and providing outstanding customer service. Your site visits will be made in one of our company vehicles.

Essential Technical Attributes
Must be able to:
5 GCSE Grade A-D/ which must include Maths and English at grade C or above
An industry qualification would be advantageous
Must be over 21, physically active and have a clean driving licence.
Business hours Mon-Fri, 8:45am - 17:15pm with some flexibility to suit the needs of the business.
37.5 hours per week
Holiday entitlement – 22 days plus bank holidays (approximately 2 days taken at Christmas)
