What Was The Challenge?

Danbro Accounting Limited, based in Blackpool, Lancashire, provides accounting advice and solutions for contractors. As a rapidly expanding company they had outgrown their existing offices. Danbro required their new premises to be appropriately cabled to support their computer network and Server. They also needed their PC’s safely moving to the new premises and their Broadband Internet connections setting up. The move had to be completed within a strict time frame over a bank holiday weekend, between the close of business on Friday and the start of the following working week.

Project management and meticulous attention to detail was the key to Impact Computing’s solution. Impact Computing carefully planned every stage of the IT office move, following a series of meetings and telephone conversations with Danbro and several preparation visits to the new offices. Impact Computing managed the entire IT office move on Danbro’s behalf. This included arranging the installation of the CAT 5e computer network data cabling, ensuring Internet connectivity was in place prior to the move, setting up the new server room and cabinets, relocating the Server and all the office PC’s and printers to the agreed locations and testing all the equipment following the move.
