The Delton Group is a leading technical recruitment and training consultancy to the world wide energy industry, located in Preston, Lancashire. With a client base mainly in the Middle East and Asia, Delton conduct the majority of their business by Email. However, Internet services abroad can be unreliable and Emails from clients were regularly not being received. Delton were wasting considerable time and energy trying to change Email settings on their PC’s and laptops, in order to receive Emails from different countries.

Impact Computing supplied The Delton Group with a Small Business Server, so all their Emails would be stored in a central location and would therefore be easily accessible. Via a password protected web page, Emails, contact details and employee calendars stored on Delton’s Server can be viewed from anywhere in the world! Delton staff have also been equipped with Blackberrys. Blackberry technology enables them to combine their mobile phone with the ability to securely send and receive Emails, wherever in the world business takes them. Blackberry synchronises live with Delton’s Server, so co-ordination of office and remote business activity is efficient.
