What Was The Challenge?

Eckersley is a leading North-West commercial property and surveying practice, based in Preston, Lancashire, with a number of national corporate clients. Their existing IT system was slow and inefficient and unreliable IT support and a lack of computer network maintenance was adding to their frustrations.

Impact Computing’s all inclusive service provides a complete outsourced IT solution. Transferring to Impact computing as our computer company was straight forward. Impact Computing began by taking the time to understand Eckersley’s business and assess their situation. We offered expert advice, matching the technology to Eckersley’s needs. We then custom designed a new Microsoft Small Business Server based computer network solution with 10 PC’s. We managed the entire project from the computer network data cabling, the installation of the hardware and software and the configuration of the computer system, including the transfer of the companies’ data to minimise disruption. We also took over the administration of Eckersley’s broadband and Email requirements and their website hosting.
